Again the fascinating blend of four grape varieties from the same commune (Ipplis di Premariacco), close to the Slavonian border, but in different proportions compared to the 2016 vintage – Friulano (25%), Pinot Bianco (40%), Sauvignon Blanc (20%) and Riesling Renano (as we know it from Germany, 15%).

Friulano and Pinot Bianco give the wine its body and mouthfeel, while the Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling Renano lend it its aromatic profile, citrus fruit-intensity and freshness on the palate.

Fruit fermented separately in stainless steel and also aged separately. Also different from the 2016 vintage, only a small selection of each grape variety matured in barriques and tonneaux, the majority in stainless steel.

Bright, clear, greenish yellow color, with a delicate perfume of confit apricot, white peach, Reine Claude, Granny Smith and hints of dill. On the palate, the wine is minerally complex with suave body, refreshing acidity, yet appealing rondeur with impressions of plum, citrus and peach. Very long finish with nutty notes. Enjoy now and through 2034.
